Laptop anti theft hardware FMJ/PAD.LOCK offers two Notebook Security Cable Kits, affording two different solutions to different situations, either securing your Notebook at your primary workstation and while on the go!

Security cable for laptop computer. One System utilizes a Security Slot available in many Notebooks. The cable is attached to the Notebook by means of a lock inserted into the "Security Slot." A plastic Adapter with a Security Slot is also included, and may be affixed to those Notebooks without a slot. The Kit has a 6' cable with a looped end. The Notebook may be secured by looping the cable end around a fixed object, like the leg of a table, counter, cart, etc. While either in or out of the office, your Notebook investment is protected.

The new iMac has a Security Slot and a Cable Security Kit may be used.

The Second System utilizes a patent-pending Notebook Cable Adapter with advanced 3M Adhesives, which is affixed to the bottom of the Notebook. It affords the flexibility to locate the cable around access panels, ports, etc. The Kit's commercial grade 6' cable is made of twisted aircraft cable. At your primary work station, your Notebook may be anchored to the work surface with a "Tie-down" Adapter included, or the cable end may be looped around a fixed object, like the leg of a table, counter, cart, etc. and secured with the padlock included. Either way, your Notebook investment is protected with this two-option solution.
